THE MAN

Remember when you were a kid in school and in every class you had that class clown? Whatever happened to that guy anyway? Imagine the craziest, goofiest guy you ever knew, and imagine what he would be like if he became a Christian. And what if he answered the call to full time ministry? Enter Hadley Baker—the one guy that no one thought would ever become a Christian, much less a preacher. As passionate as he is goofy, Baker has committed his life to reaching this generation for Christ. “I love making people laugh, but nothing in the world can compare to the joy of helping someone find God.” Baker’s primary audience is students. And he knows them as well as anyone—he is a high school social studies teacher and has been immersed into the youth culture. This has fueled his desire to travel and lead young people to Christ. Hadley is a 2000 graduate of Southwestern University (B.S. Church Ministries). He and his wife, Christie, make their home in Rowlett, TX, a suburb of Dallas.

THE MUSIC

Comedy music—the distinguishing trait of Hadley’s ministry. Be it a song about your dog dying or the perils of internet dating, the music is anything but serious. Baker views his music as a tool to connect with students: “If you can make a kid laugh they will listen to anything you wanna share, including the Gospel.” Many have dubbed him as a “clean version of Adam Sandler.” Visit the MEDIA section to sample some of the nonsense. Listen at your own risk.

THE MINISTRY

As mentioned above, Hadley’s true focus is reaching lost students. Hadley has served youth leaders in a number of venues (Disciple Nows, youth services, conventions, camps, retreats, rallies, lock-ins, you name it) and is high demand as a speaker in churches of all denominations. In 2007 Hadley played / spoke in nearly 50 services. A free DVD is available to acquaint youth pastors and church leaders with Hadley’s unique ministry to students.
